Sister Marie-Pierre Cecchi has left us
Sister Dominique Benhaddou, Secretary of Reality France – Italy, announced her death with these words:
"To all those who knew her, we share our sadness at the announcement of the departure to the house of the Father of our sister Marie-Pierre Cecchi.
Marie-Pierre had been at the house of the Sacred Heart, in Chavagnes, since only the end of July... The Lord called her to Him on August 29, 2026 at the end of the morning... "like a good and faithful servant, she entered into the joy of her Master" (Mt 25,21).
We give thanks for all that Marie-Pierre has been able to put at the service of her love for the congregation. Many of us have been able to appreciate his pedagogy in the transmission of the Charism, his rigor in his research, his desire to make Father Baudouin better known.
We entrust to the Lord all that she has been able to sow in the hearts of those she has accompanied, those who have traveled with her. ”
The burial mass took place on Wednesday, September 2 at the Sacred Heart House and the burial at the Mother House Cemetery. To share what we have experienced, I use the words of Sister Dominique Benhaddou:
"This afternoon, under a beautiful sun, we entrusted to the Lord the life of our sister Marie-Pierre, and we bore witness to her pilgrimage on this earth.
The celebration was full, dense, collected, prayerful. We lived it with her two sisters: Françoise and Anne-Marie, members of the group of associates, the Family of the Incarnation, the mustard seed. The Eucharist was celebrated by our brothers FMI, Heinz Escorche (Superior General) and Pierre Genais, Father Joseph Bourcereau was also present.
Many were the sisters who had traveled from Créteil, Paris, Angoulême, Rochefort, the different communities of Vendée, to say "To God" to Marie-Pierre.
The many testimonies received have given us to welcome as a thanksgiving the life given and offered by our sister.
Now, Marie-Pierre, watch over us and pray for us and with us.
May the Lord welcome you in his Love and Tenderness ".
