Every year, a weekend of training in the spirituality of the Incarnation takes place at the Mother House of the Ursulines of Jesus. It is called "Mustard Grain" and is prepared by the group in charge of the animation of the Family of the Incarnation in France. The participants are members of the Family (religious and lay) and people who wish to discover and deepen the charism left by the founders.
On October 10 and 11, 2026, we met again in Chavagnes-en-Paillers to "drink at the source" and "chew" the Word of God together. This year, the theme that brought us together is "Sowers, Sowers of Life". We meditated together on the parable of the sower and then looked at how the founders sowed and invited to sow Life. Time for exchanges, teaching, testimonies, sharing, celebration followed one another in a sororal (fraternal) atmosphere.
The founder Louis-Marie Baudouin wrote to the religious: "You are young, my daughters," sow in the morning and may your hand not cease in the evening "in order to gather in your old age an abundant harvest. Do not be lazy to work to your perfection in the spring of your age, your summer will bear fruit and your winter will feed on it.” (August 4, 1813)
Inviting us to sow widely in the footsteps of Jesus the Father's Missionary, we returned to our respective places of life with this prayer offered to the Family of the Incarnation in 2013:

May the Sun of the Incarnation illuminate us ceaselessly.
May the benevolent shadow of the Word make us recover our strength on a daily basis.
May the precious gift of mutual Love irrigate and fertilize our mission lands.
May our roots multiply in these lands, drawing from the depths of themselves the precious elements to give birth to an evangelical life.
May the bread of Life strengthen us.
May the tenuous breath of the Spirit make us walk lightly on our paths and become there: Bread and Water, Light and Shadow
Gospel of God, Word of Life like Jesus,so that all have life and life in abundance and the world believes.
