The spirituality of the Family of the Incarnation
This Gospel path is offered to every person : sisters, brothers, priests, lay women and lay men.
Family means:
One same sap,
Common roots,
One same family spirit:
The Spirit of the Incarnate Word.
The objectives of this family
- Gather all those who choose to be in the school of the Incarnate Word.
- Enrich and support one another as co-responsible members of the Family.
- Express the common treasure of Incarnation spirituality in today's language.
- Live our vocation and Christian mission fully at the heart of the world.
Walking in the Family of the Incarnation
What we want to live
Get to know the Family through personal encounters.
Recognize your call to live by the Spirit of Jesus.
Desire support from a group of sisters and/or brothers.
Unite attention to life and to God's Word for mission.
To become part of the family
Commit to a Family group according to its statutes:
Sons of Mary Immaculate
Ursulines of Jesus
Sisters of the Immaculate Conception of Niort
Members of fraternities
Associates and friends of the Incarnation charism.
Some people or groups wish to be part of the Family in another way. They can then:
- Commit as members of the Family by adhering to the reference text in the presence of a person in charge: the Regional or Superior General for laity in connection with the Sons of Mary Immaculate; the Provincial or Regional or Superior General for laity in connection with the Ursulines or the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception; the Coordinator of the Family of Fraternities for laity in connection with members of a Fraternity.
- Individual members will be linked with another person or a group designated by the person in charge.
- It is desirable that this commitment take place during an assembly with religious and laity. The concrete arrangements are to be determined by each country.
Friends of the Family of the Incarnation
Without committing to the Family of the Incarnation, some people or groups are "Friends of the Family":
close collaborators of the UdJ, SMI, Immaculate, Fraternities,
members of our families,
sisters and brothers who have left our congregations
people who regularly come to share our prayer,
"Charism" groups in one country or another,
former students…
