Living the same charisma

Living the same charism - Ursulines de Jésus

Following in the footsteps of Louis-Marie Baudouin and Charlotte-Gabrielle Ranfray, we let ourselves be dazzled by the beauty of the mystery of Jesus the Incarnate Word.

Step by step

Following in the footsteps of our founders, Louis-Marie Baudouin and Charlotte-Gabrielle Ranfray, we let ourselves be dazzled by the beauty of the mystery of Jesus the Incarnate Word.

"The Word became flesh and dwelt among us".

"Impelled by the Spirit of the Incarnate Word, we are sent to follow Jesus, who came to dwell in the world and reveal the Father, to proclaim God-Love together, listening to the Word in a gratuitous and universal love, poor of all and close to the poor, walking in his Presence in a fraternal life in community."

Every 5 years, the Congregation assesses the progress made during an International Assembly: called a Chapter.

In 1990

The guidelines adopted at that time told us: If we are attentive to the life of the world, if we allow ourselves to be converted, moved by the breath of the Spirit, He will arouse in us patience and compassion, strength and boldness to walk together towards evangelical SOLIDARITY: preferential solidarity with the poor.

Then we'll experience God's passage.

We will be the Face of Christ in the world. We will show that humanity is destined to become a people reconciled with God, a people living in fraternal communion, the Mystery of the Covenant.

"Let us let the salt of the Gospel attack our cultures and give flavor to our religious life, so that we may be witnesses to the Gospel, by our being, by our Word and by our action."

Women of contemplation - Let's reveal the God of Life! Women of compassion - Let's walk with the excluded! Women of communication - Let's risk the step of interculturality!

These projects invite us: to let ourselves be imbued with the gift of the founders, to live happily as women in today's world, to make ourselves more sensitive to the challenges of globalization.

"Go to Galilee - that's where you'll find him..."

Impelled by the Spirit of Jesus Incarnate Word, in response to his call, we set out to seek and discern together, our places in Galilee...

It is urgent: to widen our tent, to open our doors in fidelity to the Gospel, to allow the breath of the Spirit to renew us, to create all things new, in the footsteps of Jesus...

Let's go to Galilee... and journey towards a deeper life of internationality, interculturality, among ourselves and with others...

Let's go to Galilee... and meet the migrants. They are "the Crucified One" at every crossroads along our paths.

Let's go to Galilee... and pitch our tent, with the marginalized of the world. Following in the footsteps of Jesus the Incarnate Word, with the audacity of Louis-Marie Baudouin, exiled in Spain, and Charlotte Gabrielle Ranfray, who dared to leave the safety of the cloister, in an attitude of discipleship, letting ourselves be taught by the people, where we are inserted, and by the Spirit of Jesus who manifests himself in our lives, we will discern significant displacements.

Let's go to Galilee... Women of the Incarnation, we are called to take care of life, to make it grow, and to recreate it where it is damaged, so that present and future generations can receive a more beautiful and generous creation...

Creation is a gift, which we receive every day in order to share it, giving it back to the Creator, in an attitude of steward rather than owner. We are called to share.

Let's go to Galilee... We have a great treasure to share:
